Jamie Baltezore (Talcott)

age 96. Born in Mexico, Missouri 11/5/22 passed away 12/4/18 in St Paul, Minnesota. After growing up in Missouri, Jamie met and married Robert Baltezore in 1945. The couple went to Ann Arbor Michigan for a short time for schooling and then moved to Bellwood Illinois to start a family. In 1972 Jamie and family relocated to a farm on West Silent Lake in Ottertail County, MN. While husband Bob and youngest son Jim farmed, Jamie used her passion for gardening to create a marvelous vegetable garden the fruits of which were enjoyed by all summer and winter. She was very active in the town of Vergas and the Methodist church located there supporting the annual Looney Daze event as well as many other local activities. Other interests included Ham radio (KB0OER), quilting, reading, and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed playing a variety of board and card games with family and friends and was considered armed and dangerous for anyone willing to try their luck especially in cribbage. Jamie took up residence at Sholom in St Paul in 2013 where she became a beloved member of the community. She was preceded in death by husband Robert Baltezore, father James Talcott, mother Bertha Ann Hamilton Talcott, sisters Wilma Herman (Al), Selma Cluster (Clifford), and brother Samuel Talcott (Mary). Jamie is survived by daughters Kathleen Heath and Elizabeth Elliott (Kevin); and sons Lawrence Baltezore (Angela) and James Baltezore (Joan); 10 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren. Visitation is on Sunday 12/9/18 from 2-4 pm and Monday 12/10/18 from 11- noon followed by service and celebration of life all at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home 575 Snelling Ave S. St. Paul, MN 55116 and internment at Fort Snelling at 1:30 pm.
