Detroit Lakes: Detroit Mountain Recreational Area — Free screening of the film "Saving Snow", 6-7 p.m. social hour followed by the movie. See this documentary about the economic impact of warming winters in Minnesota and what we can do about it.

Day of Purple

Join Someplace Safe and united with others across the area by wearing purple clothing, the color used to commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Pledge or collect pledges and bring your group's contribution to your local Someplace Safe office or mail it to Someplace Safe, Box 815, Fergus Falls, MN 56538.

Chili Feed

Perham: Perham Sportsman's Club 11th annual Chili Feed. The Cactus, Ft. Thunder Road. All you can eat. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with meal being served at 6 p.m. Games and Chances to win. Forty guns given away. Admission: $20. Kids tickets available at the door. Twelve and under admitted free.
